Our emails will inform you about our café, bookstore, and events. We hope you’ll find them useful, but if not, you may unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of our emails to you. You also can talk to us directly.

We do our best to keep our emails to you accurate and up to date, but we are a small shop and we cannot guarantee it will always be error-free. We’ll do our best, but the emails and their content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.

We use the information you share with us to:

- Send you updates and invitations after you join joined our mailing list.
- Improve our email messages, website, and marketing by better understanding what interests our email recipients.

Current storage and processing arrangements:
- Our emails are sent using MailChimp, which primarily has servers in the United States.
- Our website is hosted by Elementor, with servers in Belgium.
- Contact-form submissions are delivered to an email account that is part of the Google/Gmail ecosystem.
- The Google ecosystem may also store data on servers used for Google Analytics or which they may use when tracking your use of Google Maps.
These providers may store or process data outside Switzerland and/or the EU. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle data in line with Swiss and EU standards, but we’re a very small business. If you ever have any concerns about this, please reach out to us directly.
